ENNOVA offers a wide range of computer modeling services to facilitate the understanding and prediction of the phase behavior of complex multicomponent and multiphase systems, containing water, oil, gases, and/or solids. ENNOVA also develops, maintains, and provides technical support of our proprietary software to calculate the thermodynamic and transport properties of crude oils.Our software, which is customized to satisfy the specific needs of our clients, includes the following general features:
  • Crude oil characterization and PVT modeling using standard cubic equations of state (PR and SRK) and more advanced models such as the cubic-plus-chain (CPC), cubic-plus-association (CPA) and the perturbed chain version of the statistical associating fluid theory (PC-SAFT).
  • Prediction of the viscosity of live oils and blends with hydrocarbon gas or carbon dioxide.
  • Thermodynamic and computational fluid dynamic modeling of asphaltene precipitation and deposition in the wellbore and the near-wellbore region, under high temperature and pressure conditions.
